Summer Academic Success
August 5 – 23, 2024
Designed for The Fairfax Christian School students entering first grade through eighth grade, our summer academic camp will provide the foundation students need to get a head start on the school year.
The program will begin with a comprehensive student assessment. Test results are used to place each student in the appropriate levels for phonics, reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar and mathematics. Students will then be assigned classwork, and limited homework, to better prepare them for our first day of school on August 27. Students work in small groups with personal attention from The Fairfax Christian School teachers.
Classes are held from 9:00 am until noon. Students who register for aftercare may bring their lunch or order from our caterer at https://mymealorder.com and stay for the afternoon with arts, crafts and games.
Tuition: $900 for rising first grade through eighth grade students
Before care: $90 from 8:00 am to 9:00 am
Extended afternoon care: $480 from noon until 6:00 pm

Students must be enrolled for the 2024-2025 school year to participate in Summer Academic Success.
Dress Code – Students are required to maintain clean, neat and conservative appearances. Shirts must be buttoned and shirttails must be tucked in at all times. Only the top shirt button may be unfastened. Boys should wear collared shirts. Tank tops, short shorts, cut-offs, denim jeans, leggings, bicycling shorts and sweatsuits are not permitted. Students may not wear logos/advertising for alcohol, drugs or inappropriate slogans.
