For over fifty years, Fairfax Christian School graduates have attended top universities. Our high school students are prepared for university–level coursework including more than twenty Advanced Placement® classes and College Dual Enrollment courses.  SAT® preparation is integrated into the curriculum. A variety of challenging electives allow students to establish expertise in writing, computer science, economics, business, lab sciences, art and music. Students are encouraged to develop their unique abilities. Our comprehensive program gives students an extraordinary foundation which will benefit them for their entire lives. Students achieve a high level of moral, spiritual and social development. There is an emphasis on personal responsibility and leadership and independence is encouraged.

Extraordinarily talented teachers prepare students with the self–discipline, focus and the personal determination they need to excel at top universities. Our small class sizes allow students to interact with and receive personal attention from the faculty. 

 Curriculum

Our high school curriculum offers a broad range of courses to provide students with a mastery of knowledge and prepare them for the most selective universities. Students have access to our Dual Enrollment program and our Advanced Placement program. Plus, they may receive advanced high school diplomas in STEM, Business & Economics or Arts & Letters. They follow a rigorous curriculum in English and literature, the sciences, mathematics through Calculus BC and Linear Algebra, foreign language – French, Spanish, German, Latin and Chinese, history, business classes, Bible, art, music and physical education.

A well–balanced high school student’s learning goes beyond the classroom. From community service to field trips, the Fairfax Christian School students have access to a variety of activities to enhance their learning experience.

 

 Advanced Diplomas

High school students have an option of receiving an Advanced Honors Diploma with a concentration in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Business and Economics or Arts & Letters. This course work directs students’ focus in concentrations which will prepare them for admissions at top universities. Required classes include the Dual Enrollment and Advanced Placement programs.

High school students have a range of after school and extracurricular activities to choose from including music, drama, competitive sports and clubs.

Academic Success is available to our highschool students. This after school academic program, allows students to meet with teachers to get additional academic help or to work ahead.
